Pregnancy Supports

The Family, Infant and Preschool Program's (FIPP) Pregnancy Supports are for pregnant women and women whose unborn children are at-risk for poor developmental outcomes. Areas of support for pregnant women include, but are not limited to: home-based individual supports, group parenting supports, and informational, emotional, and material supports. The Pregnancy Supports program engages parents in making a plan for a healthy pregnancy, creation of a partnership with their obstetrician, and home preparation for the new baby. Topics in the FIPP Great Expectations and New Beginnings curriculum include but are not limited to: diet and exercise, fetal development, newborn delivery, and newborn feeding. FIPP accepts referrals directly from parents, hospitals, physicians, and other community based agencies and programs.
