Early Intervention (CDSA)

The Family, Infant and Preschool Program (FIPP) is a contractor of the Morganton/Hickory Child Developmental Services Agency (CDSA) and receives referrals for early intervention services directly from the CDSA. These services are provided in accordance with Part C of the Individuals as indicated on the child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Families seen by the CDSA and determined eligible for services may request FIPP as their provider for occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology and/or community-based rehabilitation services (CBRS). These referrals must, however, go through the CDSA to determine eligibility for services and to develop the IFSP.
