In 2010, The Family, Infant and Preschool Program (FIPP) was recognized as one of the top ten early childhood organizations in the nation and designated as a National Center of Excellence in Early Childhood. Families supported by FIPP Early Head Start are receiving the very best services that the field of early childhood has to offer. FIPP Early Head Start serves as a training facility to programs across the nation and hosts interns from colleges and universities from across the country.
The Family, Infant and Preschool Program (FIPP) Early Head Start provides early, intensive, and comprehensive child development, health, and family support services to eligible families with children under age three and women who are pregnant at no cost to families. Qualified professionals provide individualized support through weekly home visits or child care in one of our licensed childcare centers.
In order to participate families must qualify for Early Head Start by meeting the enrollment and financial guidelines. FIPP Early Head Start provides the following comprehensive supports and resources:
