I Parent Education Programs
The Family, Infant and Preschool Program Parenting Education Program (I Parent) is regularly scheduled at FIPP Family Resource Centers and by request at other community locations. The programs are designed as parenting support and education groups for parents with children ages birth through age eight. The group meet for six to eight consecutive weeks. Check with your local FRC program for specific parent programming options. Current I Parent groups include:
- Parenting Club: Together with other parents increase your knowledge and confidnece in parenting abilities. Share you knowledge and experience as you learn from others and build social networks.
- Happy Couples, Happy Kids: Families together discover the effective conflict strategies and the effects of conflict resolution with co-parents and their children.
- Between Us: Asset-Based Behavioral Supports: This program assists you and your family in understanding your child(ren)'s behaviors, developing positive parent-child communications and supporting your child(ren)'s learning through responsive techniques.
