Family Resource Centers
The Family Resource Centers are welcome settings where all families with young children can learn, share information, find support, and play with their children in a nurturing environment. Regularly scheduled playgroups provide parents and their children an opportunity to play and socialize with other families. These playgroups include special activities such as child-led cooking experiences, music and movement, and early literacy learning activities. Playgroups also occur in local community settings such as the libraries and YMCAs.
