Family, Infant and Preschool Program
Overview

The Family, Infant and Preschool Program (FIPP) provides supports and resources to any child and family upon request. Although some FIPP activities have eligibility requirements, no family or child is refused participation in our program. Most programs, supports and services are provided at no cost to families.

 

FIPP accepts referrals directly from family members, as well as physicians, nurses, health care providers, hospital staff, and child care providers; public, private, and charter schools; preschools; Early Head Start programs; Head Start programs; Even Start programs; health departments; Child Development Services Agencies; social service agencies; churches; the judicial system; and other community agencies and programs.

 

FIPP staff have extensive experience and expertise working with children with autism/pervasive developmental disorders, behavioral disorders, biological risk factors, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, Down syndrome, environmental risk factors, failure to thrive, feeding/swallowing disorders, genetic disorders, gross/fine motor delays, hearing impairment, low birth weight, orthopedic disabilities, premature birth conditions, seizure disorders, sensory processing/sensory modulation difficulties, social skills/peer problems, speech-language impairments, Spina Bifida, traumatic brain injury, vision impairments, and children with other conditions that may compromise their development.
