Early Head Start Home Visiting Program
The Family, Infant and Preschool Program (FIPP) Early Head Start Home Visiting Program offers high quality, individualized supports from qualified professionals based on the most current research available. FIPP professionals provide early learning and family support in families' homes during weekly 90 minute visits. The main goal of home-based supports is to support and strengthen parent abilities to provide their children development enhancing learning opportunities and to mobilize strengths and resources to meet family needs.
To enroll in FIPP Early Head Start, families must meet the enrollment and financial criteria. Families enrolled in FIPP Early Head Start Home Visiting Program will be provided with:
- Weekly 90 minute home visits
- Parent-child early learning groups
- Dental and medical screenings and treatment
- Prenatal support
- CPR and first aid classes
- Parenting education
- Transportation assistance
- Lending library and videos
- Nutritional support
- Child development screenings and assessments
- Opportunities to become a parent leader within the program
- Early Intervention services through FIPP's multidisciplinary team
