Early Head Start Family Child Care Homes

 

FIPP Early Head Start has partnered with local family child care homes to create an innovative and comprehensive child care program for Early Head Start families called FIPP House. FIPP House offers flexible part-time and full-time care for young children from birth to age three years in the intimate environment of a licensed home. FIPP early childhood educators, teachers, and therapists provide regular and ongoing support to child care providers and children enrolled in the program. Families enrolled in FIPP House are also enrolled in FIPP's comprehensive Early Head Start program and receive the following additional supports and resources:

 

• Parenting education
• Health and dental coordination
• Developmental assessments and screening
• Assistance accessing community resources
• Transportation assistance
• Prenatal supports
• Lending libraries and videos
• Opportunities to become a parent leader within the program
