Early Childhood Program Supports

The Family, Infant and Preschool Program staff assist child care providers, preschool, and school-based program staff in the application and maintenance of evidence-based early childhood practices that promote the full participation of all children, including children with disabilities and delays. Early childhood program supports include training, ongoing follow-up support, and program evaluation activities.

Trained and knowledgeable FIPP educational professionals meet with teachers or childcare providers at an agreed upon frequency to plan and implement evidence-based practices. FIPP provides on going support to teachers and childcare staff during the work day to observe, model and offer feedback and provides follow-up and reports to the school or childcare director/principal.
