Lil' Chefs

As part of the Lil' Chefs learning group families gather at the Family Resource Centers to take part in a planned cooking activity appropriate for young children. Families mix, measure and read recipes together and then enjoy the finished product. Children learn as they engage in this everyday activity, and families gain helpful information about how to encourage family cooking at home. FIPP staff provide support and information to parents and caregivers about how they can use their learning experiences at home.
