contractor opportunities
FIPP Early Head Start seeks to engage local contractors for a variety of large and small scale projects to assist with the FIPP Early Head Start expansion start-up and on-going operations. FIPP Early Head Start seeks contractors for the following projects. Contractors must provide their own equipment. Priority will be given to local businesses and businesses who agree to participate in FIPP Early Head Start’s mandatory match of federal grant funds by providing a discount. We are seeking contractors in the following areas:
Painting
Large and small painting job as needed throughout the year.
Cleaning
Bi-weekly cleaning of an early childhood facility in Taylorsville (starts around April 1).
Daily or bi-weekly cleaning of an early childhood facility in Lenoir (starts around 8/2010).
Floor maintenance
Quarterly floor buffing, waxing and rug cleaning to early childhood centers in Taylorsville.
Quarterly floor buffing, waxing and rug cleaning to early childhood centers in Lenoir.
Groundskeeping
Seasonal maintenance and upkeep of playground in Taylorsville (starts around July).
Seasonal maintenance and upkeep of playground in Lenoir (starts around July).
Substitute teachers
Periodic substitute teachers needed for infant toddler classrooms in Taylorsville and Lenoir (beginning around March 2010).
